Connor Staub

Connor Staub is a versatile non-binary actor with a strong foundation in Shakespearean acting and training from esteemed instructors such as Kim Shively, Madeleine Potter, Kevin Otos, and Bryn Boice. Their recent performances include the role of Benvolio in the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's production of Romeo & Juliet, Yepikhodov in The Cherry Orchard at Elon University's McCrary Theater, and an understudy role for Hamlet at the same venue. Alongside their acting training, they have also received instruction in movement and voice, and have developed a passion for challenging the gender binary in theatre and bringing more diversity to the stage. With a decade of experience playing guitar, Connor has incorporated their musical background into their performances, adding a unique dimension to their craft, most notably in their performance of Yepikhodov in The Cherry Orchard. They have participated in the CSC Apprentice Program and the Theater Academy of London, and are set to graduate from Elon University's BFA Acting program in May 2023. Connor is excited to see what the future holds and are eager to take on new opportunities and challenges in the industry.
